PCS is currently seeking a full-time Medical Bill Review Specialist.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review each EOR to ensure that the information contained on the medical providers HFCA and/or UB-04 was entered accurately.
  • Perform medical bill review according to various workers’ compensation guidelines in various states.
  • Make corrections as necessary following the written and verbal procedures.
  • Use proper reason codes to deny improper billing and adjust payments to providers.

Other duties may be assigned as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Business school graduate preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Typing 45 – 50 wpm, including 10-key experience.
  • Communications and customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with Explanation of Reimbursements (EORs)
  • Medical Coding Certificate preferred
