Helpdesk Analyst

The Helpdesk Analyst is the front line of information technology customer support.  The focus is on computer set-up, desktop software installation, upgrade, and maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Provides support to end users on a variety of issues pertaining to new hire set up, desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, faxes, phones (VoIP and mobile), basic training/education and network connectivity.
  2. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems for users.
  3. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  4. Assists with inventory tracking of IT assets.
  5. Keeps current with desktop technologies, hardware and software.
  6. Troubleshoots application problems for users.
  7. Assists in analyzing and recommending new hardware solutions.


Other duties may be assigned as directed by management.


Associate Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or other related field; or a combination of education and 1 year relevant experience.

Experience in hardware support and system operating systems including desktop and server versions of Microsoft Windows.

Experience working with application design and implementation in specific areas, including networking/database management, email, and security
